Weekend Merchandiser

General Summary

As a Weekend Merchandiser moves stock from back room to shelving locations, rotating products, and displaying new products in Hoffman's retail/grocery accounts. Ensure that all product and shelves are clean and appealing.


Part-Time Position

  • Weekends, Sunday and Saturday

  • Shift starts at 6AM

  • Easy way to make extra money

  • $150 per day

  • Choice of how many weekends you want to work

  • Must have valid VA Driver's License

  • Must be willing to driver personal car


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for own expenses associated with vehicle , this includes gas.

  • Maintain a fast work pace with effective time management

  • Responsible for the stocking of shelves at accounts, such as grocery stores, C-stores and mass merchandiser accounts on Saturdays and Sundays.

  • Comply with proper product rotation standards for product freshness and quality.

  • Prepare damaged and outdated product for pickup and return to the warehouse

  • Follow company merchandising standards

  • Meet customer service expectations through daily communication, problem resolution, and appropriate follow up.

  • Maintain professional, team relationship with co-workers and customers.

  • Any other tasks or responsibilities assigned to you by your supervisor.

Safety Ownership

  • Take reasonable care of yourself by not taking risks or putting yourself in danger.

  • Take care of others by not causing distractions and ensure your behavior does not impair the ability to perform duties safely as well as efficiently for others.

  • Responsible for following instructions and established safety policies. Use the safety measures provided.

  • Do not interfere or misuse work equipment. Should only use equipment if trained and authorized.


Physical Requirements: This position requires exposure to inside and outside conditions, extreme cold and hot temperatures, with the following physical demands: bending, climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, talking, hearing, carrying, and lifting/moving up to 90 pounds.

Inability to meet one or more of these physical or mental requirements will not automatically disqualify a candidate or employee from the position.
