Draft Beer Service Technician
General Summary:
The Hoffman Beverage Company Draught Service Technician is responsible for ensuring that local bars/restaurants serve the highest quality pints of draft beer by cleaning, servicing, and maintain draft beer lines. A typical day will consist of visiting customer locations to keep their draft beer systems clean and serving great beer as well as building relationships with managers, owners, and bartenders. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated and enjoy working independently.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain relationships with customers.

Drive daily to designated account on route.

Check ABC license.

Clean and maintain draft beer systems.
-
Provide basic maintenance (fixing pouring issues, changing faucets and couplers).

Ability to check temperature, pressure, and expiration date of beer.

Ability to diagnose and solve draft problems and report discrepancies to management.

Notify Service Manager of closed accounts or cleaning day account change requests.

Ensure surveys are completed after cleaning, service call or delivery.

Must be in complete uniform and remain courteous at all times.

Responsible for maintaining cleaning supplies and stock in vehicle.

Responsible for handing out samples of new products, sell sheets, and price lists as directed by Service Tech Manager.

Notify team leader immediately of all draught products out of stock.

Comply with all company, state, distributor and brewer procedures, guidelines, and regulations.

Assist Special Event department as needed.

Assist Service Tech Manager in daily functions, as requested.
Knowledge and Skills:

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Familiarity with drought products and accounts

Background in mechanical trades, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and refrigeration a plus
Education and Experience:

Previous draft beer experience preferred
-
Must have valid VA driver’s license, driving record meet company standards
