CDL A Delivery Driver

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday

• Flexible start times determined by account service windows

• Local routes

• No nights

• Home daily

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily Pre/Post trip inspections

• Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.

• Deliver to all accounts on truck in safe manner and within account’s service windows

• Unload products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas. Stock, merchandise, rotate, and face product on displays, hot shelves, cooler, cold box, and back-room stock.

• Collect payment for all delivered invoices (no cash accepted)

• Operate assigned company equipment in safe and professional manner

• Unload damaged goods, customer returns, complete necessary paperwork and synchronize handheld.  Unload all equipment, materials and remove trash from trailers as required.

• Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean as required.

• Performs other related duties as assigned

 

 

Required skill and experience

• Must be at least 23 years of age

• Must have at valid Virginia CDL-A license

• Must maintain an acceptable driving record in compliance with DOT requirements.

• Must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 165 lbs. when handling keg products.

• This position must pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test

• This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift

Qualifications:

• US work authorization (Required)

• Driving: 1 year (Preferred, not required)
